Welcome to Year 4!
Hello and a warm welcome to Year 4’s page.
We hope your children will have a fantastic year with us in year 4. We will be exploring lots of fantastic and engaging topics such as Ancient Egyptians, Rochdale Pioneers and Castles and Kings.
Useful Reminders:
Reading books to be brought in every day and can be changed every day.
Monday:
Grammar homework sent out to be returned on Thursday
Thursday:
Swimming day – bring swimming kit in a bag.
If your child has guitar lessons they will need to bring their guitar on Thursdays.
Maths homework to be given out and returned on Monday.
Friday:
P.E. day – come to school in PE kit. Spellings test

Egyptian Art
As part of our Ancient Egypt work, we have produced some wonderful art pieces. We have recreated Tutankhamun's death mask and have written our name on papyrus paper using hieroglyphs.
