Hello and welcome to Reception Class! My name is Mrs Kelly and I’m the class Teacher and Mrs Berry is our Teaching Assistant.

On our page, you will be able to find our latest newsletter and our topic plan which will detail activities and learning opportunities the children will have throughout the half term.

We set simple homework weekly, that encourages speaking and communication and you can be as creative as you or your child likes! This will be sent out every Wednesday and returned the following Wednesday. We will also send out additional phonics and maths homework throughout the year, although this may not be every week.

Please bring your child’s reading book to school every Monday and Wednesday so that their books can be changed. Reading is an important skill for children to learn and we ask that they read their books every night for at least 5-10 minutes and parents/carers please sign their reading record.
