Tricky words in Year 1 !
In our daily phonics we are getting so good at spotting our tricky words that we can’t sound out – we just need to know them ! We are no longer letting them trick us – well done everyone with super reading !

A tinkle of bells, then Mrs Hardy came to say we were on the nice list… We were delighted to have a visit from Santa.
Sweet or sour?
As part of our look at the 5 senses we carried out a taste investigation.We tasted mystery foods, had to label sweet or sour and guess the food. I’m sure you’ll be able to tell the tastes we liked ! />
