Today in year 4 we went outside in our lovely big field to plant tree saplings. In pairs we chose Hazel tree and Dogwood saplings to plant. We talked about the benefits of planting trees for the environment and what trees need to grow and survive. Well done Year 4...

The eco committee very kindly offered Year 5 the opportunity to plant some new trees on the field. We had to make a slit in the ground deep enough to take all of the roots and we had to seal the ground around the sapling. We look forward to seeing them grow and hope...
