We don’t view History as simple facts and dates. At All Saints’ we see it as a chance to become a detective and explore the past in an exciting way. History allows our children to compare and contrast, to examine how and why things have changed, to learn about historical characters and expand their research skills.

We encourage the first-hand experience wherever possible through visits to historical sites, drama and role-play activities, the use of historical artefacts and testimonies of witnesses through the use of secondary resources.
