We had a brilliant time visiting the amazing Town Hall. We loved seeing the stained glass windows, the huge staircase inside and all the different rooms. We were taken back in time to 1866 when Rochdale was famous for the cotton mills and we looked at what it would be like to work in a mill at that time. We even smelt some of the smells that would have been around at that time! To end our trip we imagined what life would have been like for a child working in the mill and made our own paper weaving.
