As part of our DT work in Here’s One I Made Earlier, we made a pop-up toy using a cam mechanism. Firstly we investigated different toys and their mechanisms and identified the differences between a cam and a wheel. Then we needed to use the drills and the saws to make our own mechanisms. We designed our puppets and backdrops on a Christmas theme.
